Dan Kempson is a Project Leader and Engagement Manager at Boston Consulting Group, leading large-scale client engagements within their Consumer, Operations, and TMT practice areas. He primarily works on operational transformations and supporting major customer, vendor, and supplier negotiations. Additionally, he leads pro bono engagements of BCG consultants alongside executive teams at major performing arts institutions. He has further experience with non-profit development, strategic and financial planning, brand development, labor negotiations, and people strategy.
Prior to consulting, Dan had an international career as a operatic baritone, with highlights including a Grammy nomination and joining the Principal Artist roster of the Metropolitan Opera.
Dan holds an MBA with Dean's Honors from Columbia Business School, and has music degrees from Manhattan School of Music and Peabody conservatory. He is based out of Philadelphia, PA, where he lives with his husband, bass-baritone Zachary Altman, and their dog Pickle.
